Yamhill Valley Tall Poppy… The very finest Pinot Noir we can produce. In our 25 years of winemaking, we have made this wine in just four vintages: 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2005.

Tall Poppy Pinot Noir derives from selected clones of our oldest vines, and is made only when the stars align to signal an extraordinary vintage. It matures in our finest barrels, finally yielding 100 to 200 cases of a flamboyant, outrageous over achieving Pinot Noir.

The Tall Poppy Club is for the wine enthusiast who is looking for truly exceptional Pinot Noir. Club members will have access to our Tall Poppy vintages and to Yamhill’s finest Reserve Pinot Noirs before general release.

Every year, Club Members will have an opportunity to taste and purchase our Pinot Noir Reserve and Tall Poppy before they are released. We’ll ship you two bottles of Reserve and one of Tall Poppy at a 20% discount. Then, after you have had a chance to experience these wines, you’ll be able to purchase up to two cases of the Reserve and one case of Tall Poppy at the same discounted price for 30 days.

As a Club Member, you will get additional discounts on our other wines ordered from the website or purchased in the tasting room. When you have the opportunity to visit the winery, there will always be something special for you to sample…such as our Founders Select Pinot Noir. This is a single barrel selection, made only occasionally for the enjoyment of our founders, and never for public sale.

What is the cost of membership? To get started - not much. Our Pinot Noir Reserves have retailed from $35 to $50 and the Tall Poppy from $75 to $100. Your two bottles of Reserve and one of Tall Poppy will cost as little as $116 plus shipping. You will not be charged until the wines are shipped (Fall 2008). How deeply you get hooked is strictly up to you!
