Block Name: Upper Sequoia Grove
Variety: Pinot Noir
Clone: Pommard
Year Planted: 1984
Trellis Type: Single High Wire
Soil: Marine Sedimentary
Fun Fact: This block is named for the large Sequoia trees that are planted on the west side of the block on our neighbor’s property.
Along the trails, you will notice that our older plantings have wider row spacing and single high wire trellises. The later plantings are more dense and have vertical shoot position (VSP) trellising.
