Fun Fact: The fruit notes expressed by this Pinot Gris on the volcanic soil are usually more of the stone fruit variety while the fruit notes expressed by the Pinot Gris on the marine sedimentary soil are more citrus-like. By planting this block across the two soil types we are able to add complexity into the finished wine.
