"Made from vines now over 20 years of age, this is among the best renditions of Pinot Blanc out of 11 examples recently tasted. It shows predictably subtle aromas, but comes into its own on the palate, showing a fully medium-bodied profile with rounded texture but perfectly adequate acidity to keep the flavors focused and fresh. The flavors recall white melon, ripe pear and ripe Golden apples, with a little more melon than usual. The overall balance of fruit to acidity is very, very good, and the flavor notes tail off evenly, keeping all of them in play. Pinot Blancs made in this comparatively rich and flavorful style will be among the ones to help draw broader consumer attention to the variety."

“This offers aromas of crushed apples, savory herbs, lemon rind and some ashy, dusty minerality. The palate is focused and crisp with medium body and a sleek, fruity aftertaste.”
