Tasting Notes
This wine is grown, made and bottled on our estate, the second oldest vineyard in the McMinnville AVA, established in 1983. Our Rosé is made from handpicked Pinot Noir grapes sourced from two blocks, one planted with the Dijon 115 clone, the other the Pommard clone in marine sedimentary / volcanic & marine sedimentary soils respectively. Mostly held in stainless steel to retain the fresh fruit flavors, a small percentage was aged in neutral oak barrels to add additional texture & interest. Tasting notes – rose petal, fresh strawberry, tropical mange, passion fruit, white raspberry, and a soft, full texture.
Accolades
92 points, Seal of Approval - Blue Lifestyle, Anthony Dias Blue
“Power and concentration to the cherry juice aromas, which set the stage for a palate with subtle tannins and an almost light-red-wine texture that make it uniquely food friendly, especially with its mixed mountain berry flavors. Bring on the grilled sausages.”
- Food & Wine Magazine, Brian Freedman, “Quarantine Can’t Stop You from Drinking Rosé All Summer”
